Wow have things been busy

I can not believe how long it has been. Real life is busy busy busy. Can't say much at the moment but big news will be coming in a couple of months. Work is going well and we are staying busy there.Our son has moved back in sorta, he is in between training with his Army Unit and needs a place to drop his stuff in between so he was here for 10 days gone now for 2 weeks will then be back for 8 days and off again for somewhere between 3 to 4 weeks. Then I am not sure so the house is in a bit of an uproar.

So what have I been up to stitching and sewing????

I completed the bib and burp clothes for the baby set I showed you last post.

I also made a couple of towels for the mom and dad. I used a couple of the DMC Coloris Floss

I then started on the next Baby Gift Set. This mom-to-be is a huge Harry Potter fan. I found fabric on Fabrics.com called Spellbound and some Harry Potter specific and I have completed the bag. The charms on the pockets are a camera, howling werewolf. and on the clasp to close top is a lightening bolt.

Accessories clutch, on the flap are an owl and Hogwarts Castle charm.

And a changing pad

My son's girlfriend has an upcoming birthday and so I made her a tote and clutch. She is a Texas girl so I went with stars and Texas related charms

 

I am working on a bib with the Harry Potter theme and there will also be burp clothes. then I can get back to my regular stitching. I want to finish Death by Cross Stitch and the Spring Village this summer.  I hope to be back in a couple weeks if all goes well.
