Oh boy the summer is slipping away and I am not keeping up. Unfortunately it is because I am dealing with some medical issues. Both of my hands are having troubles with carpel tunnel. I am doing physical therapy which is not helping and trying to get my insurance to agree to surgery. I know that is the only thing that is going to fix this and the sooner the better. I am having difficulties with the constant numbness in 2 fingers and the tingling in the rest of my hand and wrist. After 6 to 7 years of dealing with the progression of my conditions now it has gotten to the point of doing surgery or loosing some of my feeling permanently.
I have done a bit of stitching but as you can imagine I am much slower then normal plus I have been doing lots of sewing. I have the final items for the 2nd baby shower gift finished. 1 Baby Bottle insulated bag, 2 bibs, 2 burp clothes and a second changing pad, this one is for the daddy.
I am working diligently on my Spring Village by Stoney Creek. I am making a few changes as I do with so many of my projects.
I started on Nora Corbett's Zenia, she is one of the Bewitching Pixies. I have changed her colors from red to green. I have only worked on her when I go to my stitching group once a month. This is 2 months of work.
I hope to have good news about my wrist next time. I also hope to have an update earlier in August.
